Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Panic Later (independent software) · covers all products listed below

1. The short version

We don't collect your data. Our products run on your device, and nothing you do inside them is transmitted to us or to anyone else — with exactly two narrow exceptions, both described below and both about a license key, never your content.

2. Our products

3. What stays on your device — always

4. The two narrow exceptions

1) Your license key. When you activate a Pro upgrade, the key is sent over HTTPS to our payment processor's public license API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to verify it, and re-checked there about once a month. Only the key itself is sent — never audit answers, page content, scanned domains, journal entries, or any other data.

2) Public DNS lookups (Inbox Shield). Checking a domain's email records means asking public DNS resolvers (dns.google, cloudflare-dns.com) about that domain — exactly what happens when any mail server delivers mail. These requests contain the domain name only, never anything about you.

5. What we never do

6. Payments

Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details under their privacy policy. We never see your card details — we receive only a license key record for activation.

7. Children's privacy

Our products are general-audience tools and do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Given that our entire policy is "we don't collect," we don't expect drama here.
